Ecco Comics

After the release of the original Ecco the Dolphin for Sega Genesis, Game Gear and Master System, two series of comics inspired by the game were released. The first part, entitled simply “Ecco the Dolphin”, was released in Issues #13-18 of Sonic the Comic in the United Kingdom.

The second installment, entitled “Return of Ecco the Dolphin”, came much later, after the release of Ecco II: Tides of Time. It was included in issues #60-65 of Sonic the Comic.

These comics bear similarity to the storyline of the games, however, they take the same concepts in a much different direction, including settings and events not featured in the games.     I just finished reading them all, I find it funny how different the story of the games and the books are. I laughed when I saw their version of the vortex…lol
