Game Videos
The Ecco the Dolphin / Ecco II: Tides of Time Sega/Mega CD versions contained videos that supplemented the gameplay. The latter had some beautifully rendered 3D scenes depicting the events of the first game. Here, you can download any of these videos. These videos are in the XViD codec, so if you have difficulty playing them, try using VLC to play the files. Enjoy!

Ecco 1 Video #2: About Dolphins (continued) |
Coming Soon: The segmented videos from Ecco PC.

Hmm… Ecco, with documentary about real bottle-nosed dolphins… Gotta play the Sega CD version again, I guess.
Does it really show those videos? :0
Yes, the “documentary” videos are in Ecco I CD’s stage “The Library”, and the long one (segmented into many parts) is scattered throughout Ecco II CD, with one glyph containing all videos in “City of Forever” at the end of the game. They’re all contained in “Video Glyphs”.
I see… It has been a while since I have played the CD version of Ecco. Like I said, I’ve got to check out the CD Version again.
How could I forget those videos?!
Mobius 1, Mobius 1, Mobius 1… You ever tried going into the area in the Library level with those Video Glyphs? Next time you play the game, check it out. The videos are pretty slick.
Where is the Ecco 2 video? I’ve been trying to find the video. I’m getting very frustrated… >:(
It’s the very first one on the page.
I mean in the game.
The glyphs are scattered throughout the game, but the one glyph that plays every video end-to-end is in “City of Forever” in Ecco II CD right where you start the stage (see the video on this page for a demonstration)
This may sound odd, but i watched the history glyphs, and its actually quite sad the way that Ecco loses his friends and family. :’(
One question about the cd games- Do they get scratched from usage like xbox/360,PS1/2/3/P,and Saturn/Dreamcast disks?
ps poor Ecco, he lost everything he loved…
