Gabigol is ready to move to Sporting
Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa is open to leave Inter for a loan at Sporting CP, according to media in Italy.
The Brazilian striker arrived from Santos for 29.5 million euros a year ago but has never had a chance to appear as the first team in Serie A, given only a few chances of appearances as a substitute.
He seemed determined to stay afloat and get his place at Inter, but the pre-season game made it clear that he did not fit into Luciano Spalletti’s plans.
According to FCInterNews.it, Gabigol has rejected several offers to lend, but is willing to accept Sporting CP.
Some of the clubs associated with Gabigol include VFB Stuttgart, Las Palmas, and Sampdoria.
There has been no official offer for Inter, but his agent is said to be in negotiations with the Portuguese club.
He hopes a city and club that can speak Portuguese will help him to adapt quickly.
